I’m a fiend when it comes to learning new skills. The thought of taking on a new challenge and learning something different gets me out of bed everyday. I’m so lucky that I get to do this in both my (new) job as community manager for Hobzy and when writing my blog.
I think it’s why I enjoy writing a DIY blog and teaching other people my skills. I want to give another person that feeling of achievement and fulfilment I get when I’ve been shown how to do something I’ve never done before. That “oh yeah!” feeling.
This is why I wanted to share with you another video I’ve made for the Hobzy Youtube channel. It’s a simple jewellery making, necklace project that shows you the basics of putting together a piece of jewellery and the tools and materials you’ll need to do so. Take a little look and see what you think.
Hope you get the feeling!

I love the necklace DIY, you made it look so easy! I was just wondering where did you purchase the glass beads from? I love the colors of them :)

Thank you!
I bought the beads a long time ago, but I know they’re in many common glass mixes that come from India. Whenever I’ve seen these you will buy them based on weight or volume. Check out your local bead or craft shop. If they don’t have them hopefully they’ll know somewhere local that does!
Sorry I can’t be more specific! x
