When I look back at my early days of blogging it seems like a stroke of luck that when I first started I was managing a small bead shop. Every one of my early tutorials used materials we sold in the shop and online, so I knew that anyone reading the site and wanting to make the jewellery would be able to. No problem spending hours online sourcing materials! When I’m researching ideas for this blog one of my first thoughts after ‘how can I make this?’ is ‘how easy is it to find the materials?’ It’s one of the make or break aspects of whether I even attempt to make a DIY. If I find it difficult to get the materials how can I expect you guys to find them too!?
That’s why I love the idea of putting kits together for my DIY tutorials. How great would it be to get everything you need to make a project, delivered to your door in one go. So I’ve teamed up with Darby Smart to bring you my Copper & Pine Magazine Rack DIY tutorial in a convenient, one-stop shop kit so that you can make this project without spending hours looking for the perfect materials.
I’d love to hear more of your thoughts on DIY kits. Do you buy them? Do you enjoy receiving them? What would you like to see as a kit if you could choose any materials or craft? And If you’ve never used a kit before (or you have) and would like to try it out go and get your DIY Copper and Pine Magazine Rack kit right here!
