DIY Minimal Knotted Rope Keychain

Today I wanted to share a couple of things with you. Firstly this DIY Minimal Knotted Rope Keychain tutorial I made is up over on Brit+Co. You can head over there to check out how to make it today. And secondly (here comes the soppy bit) just how much you guys all mean to me!

If you following me on Instagram then you might have already heard me gushing about how I’m so happy to have this blog and the community we’ve made around it. It’s somewhere I know I can come and talk about some of the more difficult aspects of creating a creative space openly and will always receive so much love and support that I instantly feel reinvigorated to improve and go further.

The response to the We Make Collective project has also been so overwhelming. It’s both so exciting and nerve wracking to embark on something new. It’s scary to put something you believe in so strongly out into the world with the chance of rejection but after hearing your feedback I’m feeling confident that we can make this happen! If you’re wondering what all of this is about you can learn more here (and find out how to make a DIY giant loom at the same time!)

At the moment I’m working as fast as I can to bring you more details on We Make and get this show on the road! You can follow me using the links below to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the big announcements. See you there!

Hi there! I know this an older diy post but if you could help that would be great! I am wanting to make about 50 of these keychains as party favors. I am wondering where you got the rope from or what type of rope it it and how thick it is. It doesnt look like the normal twisted rope. Also where did you get the cord ends? I can not find these anywhere. Thank you!!

I know this is an older DIY post, but if you could lend a hand, that would be awesome! I want to make around 50 of these keychains as party favors. Can you tell me where you got the rope from or what type it is and how thick it is? It doesn’t seem like the usual twisted rope. Also, where did you find the cord ends? I’ve been searching everywhere, but no luck.
