This week I’ve been inspired by the details used to beautify and adorn the things around us, whether that’s to build, accessorise or dress the inanimate and make it into something truly special. I’ve been thinking a lot about ‘fast fashion’ and how we need to update our belongings before buying new. This is something I’m going to be doing much more often from now on, as well as de-cluttering and trying to achieve a more minimalist style.

The confessions of a hoarder. This isn’t going to be easy.

De-cluttering is something I have yet to master, because once I get rid of something, I always find a way to replace it and then some! It isn’t easy for me to part ways with belongings either, especially if I made them lol.
What a nice surprise to see my string bowl here! Thanks so much for including it, Fran!

      Hey Amy!

Thank you for sharing. I’m definitely going to be making some string bowls! I have loads of cord, which instead of hoarding I plan on making useful. So thank you for the tutorial. I read a great article (I can’t remember where now) on just getting rid of one thing a day. I’m going to try that. xx
