How to Make Textured Beads

When you are making your own beads it’s very difficult to get a perfectly smooth surface texture. So if you’re a perfectionist this (I can imagine) would get pretty frustrating. Me, I like quick fixes. Who has time to make things perfect? So why not play up to the imperfections?

Instead of seeing small flaws as a fault, highlight them and make them into a feature. Here I’ve gone even further and intentionally disfigured the surface to make something more interesting and unique. To me this is so relatable to real life! We tattoo and pierce our bodies, dye our hair and follow fashion not to make us look better but to make us stand out. I don’t want to be perfect, I want to create imperfections to celebrate my own uniqueness. But who says these imperfections have to be flaws?

When it comes to making beads or to making me I don’t have the time get it perfect.

Materials

  • Sandpaper / foil / any other textured surface
  • Air dry clay
  • Bead reamer
  • Craft knife

Instructions

1. Roll the clay out into a sausage shape over one of your textures to begin to create the rough surface.

2. Once you’re happy with the size of the tube cut into 1 inch long sections.

3. Carefully push the bead reamer through the middle of each tube.

4. To create an all over texture take something with a very rough textured surface and run the bead over the surface.

5. Leave to dry and harden for 12-24 hours then you’re ready to use them!

Online casino https://cottonboys.com/ is a great place to have a good time. There is simply no time to be bored and think. Because you have to rush between promotions and tournaments in order to have time to collect the winnings due everywhere. You will definitely not win such money anywhere!
