Fall For…. Tangible Textures

Yesterday my sister got married! We’ve been keeping it a secret because they wanted a small celebration with just family and to surprise everyone else. It might seem unusual but I think one of the best things about doing it this way was that we got to spend time as a new family together. Eating, drinking, laughing (watching England lose) and getting to know each other better without the dilution that having a bigger wedding party would inevitably bring. (Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, but in this case keeping it small felt right.)

I had my roles. I made head dresses and took the photos. I’m no pro but I think both came out ok. I’ll let you be he judge of that once I’m done editing the photos. Until then here are my favourite DIY tutorials I’ve found this week that I think would make great wedding DIY’s or gifts for the bride and groom:
