DIY// Fuchsia Stone Bracelet

pink_and_stone_bracelet

Pink has been creeping it way back onto the catwalk and back into our hearts. Fur bags, pink camel coats, baby pink t-shirts and magenta skirts are not for the faint hearted, but if you want to grab a slice of the action and show off your girly side in a more subtle way why not try some pink statement jewellery?

Instructions:

1. Poke the eyepin through the semi precious stone bead. Using the round nose pliers turn the pointed end into a loop.

2. Split the chain into two sections.

3. Use the jump rings to attach the chain to both sides of the eyepin.

4. Measure the bracelet around your wrist, adjust the chain as necessary and attach the clasps with the other two jump rings.

If you’re new to jewellery making and want to learn the basics, we’re putting together an ecourse to guide you through the tools and techniques, how to develop your own designs and source creative ideas and new materials. You’ll be able to purchase this soon for the pre-release price of just $1. More info coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

I just bought a stone like that, and I was going to use a normal skinny chain,
but this chunky chain is a great idea! :)

Hi Megan. I found the stone at one of my local bead shops http://www.funkymo.com/
(she actually gave me the last two stones although I only paid for one… sneaked it into my bag when I wasn’t looking!)

Inspiring! I think I have some chain and stones that would work well for a bracelet like this. Thank you for sharing!!
