Is anyone else totally freaking out that it’s March already? I have to say this year has both sped by and been dragging its heels. How is that even possible? Maybe it’s because I’ve been waiting so long to tell you guys about the latest behind the scenes news. And before someone shouts babies – nope, that’s not it.
Today we exchanged contracts on our first house! I’m still a little nervous announcing it on the blog. There are so many things that can go wrong during this process it still feels like I’m tempting fate. I don’t think I’ll be 100% sure we’re actually doing this until I have the keys locked in a death grip. Which should be this time next week! Of course I’ll fill you in with all the details of our journey and buying a house as a newly(ish) self-employed person (so much fun…) once we’re in. But for now I’ll be busy (not) packing and searching all these great blogs for DIY ideas to fill our new home with!
